ABSOLUTE JOKE Wish I could give 0 stars. Ordered a tshirt that was too small so I returned it (at own cost). Requested a replacement that was never processed until I raised a complaint with PayPal. By the time the replacement came world book day had been and gone so the item was returned (at own cost again). 3 weeks later and no refund. I’m now the cost of the item and 3 lots of postage down. Avoid.

after a distressing situation, no help from DC Thompson. They acknowledged that their payment system was "playing up" and I confirmed with my bank that there was two successful payments. but their payment system kept "reverse declining payment". The TSB said that my card paid it twice and it was refunded on a reverse decline from DC Thompson. DC Thompson refuses to accept this. poor poor company not even to say sorry, all they said was to ask if I had another form of payment, I said no because they dont even accept American Express

Love the mags
I keep buying more subscriptions, as I love their products so much. I called this morning as I had received the wrong magazines just before Christmas, and spoke to Thomas. Absolutely charming and helpful, and promised to send out replacements immediately.

Wrong Order, no reply!
Recieved the wrong order and chased twice before a reply was received. It was too late as the gift was a christmas present . No meaningful apology given or offer to make any gesture. I see the other bad reviews and just wish I had known before I ordered, wont make that mistake again!

POOR SERVICE
000692876 Order placed 17th November, wrong item sent and returned with their own free return system. STILL not received the item ordered and numerous emails sent. Unreliable Company with no regard for customer service, don’t bother wasting your time with this company.

Ordered from them some weeks ago, but they will not provide any sensible answers re a delivery date.
Will not be ordering again despite all the literature they keep sending.
Do not recommend them.

I strongly suggest you do not deal with this company.
One star is the lowest I can give but far too generous. This company accepts an order for a product it does not have, fails to respond to emails when it has not delivered in 6 weeks, and barely answers the phone. When you do get through and agree a refund, it does not actually do that either. It is very effective at taking your money and then dishonestly keeping it. I would strongly suggest you find an alternative supplier.

Would give 0 stars if allowed, absolutely shoddy service. Would have to ring every week or 2 since subscription started due to missing beanos for my 8 year old son, email is a joke take a week to reply to you, give you the same excuses, have now cancelled and seeking a different companies magazine for my son.

This company is the worst ever. My magazine never comes when it is meant to and sometimes doesn't come at all. I have been in touch and they are most unhelpful. I will not be renewing my subscription

I have recently been contacted by an outstanding DC Thomson customer service representative, Bette Smith. Without going into the absolute detail of her email to me - which was outstandingly positive, I have to tell you that my faith has been restored. Over the course of an email conversation, it was clear that she understood the value of the Beano/DC Thomson name, and the real negative impact on the brand, of complaints like mine. From my perspective, Bette has 'gone above and beyond' to rectify and make up for previous events.
Obviously I cannot speak for anyone except myself, but I would suggest ensuring that there is some way for DC Thomson to contact you, and leave the door open for them, because there is at least one outstanding head of customer experience there who really cares about the brand and its customers.
For this reason, I wish to retract my previously negative review.

Over the past 2years I have purched 8 white hostas at a cost of £40 unfortunately after coming through the ground they die Having planted them in different parts of the garden and also in pots this was the result .

canna bulbs
I purchased 6 canna bulbs , out of the 6 only 2 grew , which for 6 they were £36 … total waste of money don’t buy , and have emailed them and just got a generic email back !!
